Q2 2012 Syracuse, New York Retail Property Sales Analysis


There have been three retail investment deals in Syracuse so far in 2012, including one in the second quarter. The year-to-date total transaction volume is $7.8 million with a mean price of $44 psf. For the first quarter, Reis reports the June sale of the Eastside Racquet Club, described as a 56,580-square-foot free-standing retail building, which sold for $2.2 million ($39 psf). The 12 month rolling cap rate is reported at 14.0%.
