There were no qualifying apartment investment sales in the second quarter, as the 12 month rolling cap rate, based on five sales, slipped 30 basis points to 6.5%. The first quarter had seen $9.0 million change hands in two deals at a mean price of $92,000 per unit; the 2011 total had been $19.1 million in five deals at a mean price of $53,000 per unit.
