Competitive Inventory

Definition:
The total square footage or total number of units or square footage of completed properties that are competitively rented. Competitive properties for Office: multi- and single-tenant 15,000+ sqft, Retail: neighborhood and community shopping centers 10,000+ sqft. Industrial: warehouse/distribution and flex/r&d space 10,000+ sqft properties, Apartment: 40+ units (tertiary markets and markets within California, REIS includes apartment complexes of 20+ units). Owner-occupied, medical office buildings, cooperatives, condominiums, furnished rental apartments, federally subsidized housing units, and buildings under construction are excluded from the inventory.
